Raising awareness of Mental Health.

In the middle of this year a lady lost her husband, children lost their dad and many many people lost a very well respected colleague and a very dear friend. This loss has impacted a whole community as well as further afield.
We all deal with losses in our lives, it is a natural thing but every once in a while the effect of losing someone goes far beyond normal.

Andrew Jeremy Holter was a man of many hats and uniforms ranging from Police Cadets to Funeral Director and practically everything in-between.
First and foremost though Andy was a loving husband, a dedicated dad to two amazing children and a brilliant step-dad to five more.
He had a gift for helping, drawing alongside and caring about everyone but especially the vulnerable the hurt and the ones that some in society would otherwise shun he really was a good samaritan.

We have had the privilege of knowing him for many years, not as many as some but nevertheless in all that time Andy was always willing to step up and help if he could. He would always find time in his busy schedule of work, volunteering and family life to do one more thing for somebody. If we are to learn just one lesson from him it is to be kind.
